It’s the year 2045 in The Big Fucking City, that’s what the opening text says, and it’s time for everyone’s favourite show, Arena Wars, with your hosts Samson and Moses.
Well, Arena Wars used to be everybody’s favourite, a bloody spectacle that pits a team of death row inmates against a team of murderous psychopaths for a chance to earn their freedom. The problem is, it always ends the same way, with the well-armed and equipped psychos slaughtering the convicts. People are getting bored and the ratings are suffering, much to the dismay of Belladonna, the network’s CEO.
Now, the simple answer would be to give the inmates some weapons and make it an actual fight,...

Welcome to this review of Tna’s Sacrifice 2024 – which has rather swiftly followed their last PPV, No Surrender (which was only Two(!) weeks ago). Talk about pay-per-view fatigue – though can we call this a PPV? Isn’t it rather a Tna+ special? Whatever, let’s check out what went down on this show!
Countdown To Sacrifice Match #1: Digital Media Championship – Crazzy Steve def. Joe Hendry The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Before the match begins, Joe Hendry pokes fun at the Digital Media Champion, calling him “baby Steve”, “lazy Steve” and”80s Steve”. Hendry is interrupted by his rival, Aj Francis, who joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary. Hendry hits Steve with a stalling suplex. Steve cranks Hendry’s neck on the top rope. Minutes later, Steve continues to target that area with a neckbreaker. Hendry turns the tide with a pop-up powerbomb. Steve distracts the...

Some of Fleetwood Mac’s best songs are about Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks’ tumultuous relationship. Their romance also inspired many tracks from Nicks’ solo albums. Here’s what the singer said about her 24 Karat Gold record and whether her ex-boyfriend ever listened to the songs about him.
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham | Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic Stevie Nicks said half of the songs on her solo album ‘24 Karat Gold’ are about Lindsey Buckingham
Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks released her solo album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault in 2014. Although she and her bandmate Lindsey Buckingham broke up decades before the album’s release, Nicks revealed that “half” of the songs on the record are about the guitarist.
“Nobody from Fleetwood Mac has heard this record yet,” she told Rolling Stone in October 2014. “When the time comes to hear it, they’ll like it. Lindsey will love it – half of these songs are about him!

Mushi Productions, a company created and abandoned by Osamu Tezuka, (aka “God of Manga”), produced the adult-themed anime Belladonna of Sadness, in 1973. It was the final part of a trilogy named Animerama, a commercial failure that kept the title in anonymity for many years, despite the fact that some editions of very low quality were circulating in the internet. In 2014 however, the original anime was restored and is now available in 4K. Let us take things from the beginning, though.

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while, since April in fact, and back then I talked about how I was resisting moving my movie poster curation over to Instagram from Tumblr. But just a couple of weeks later I bit the bullet and launched Movie Poster of the Day: Instagram edition. I still don’t love Instagram as a platform for posters as much as Tumblr—people tend to look at it on smaller screens for one thing, posters are not so easy to share and re-blog, and I much prefer the look of Tumblr’s archive page which keeps posters at their original ratio. But Instagram is the future, or at least the present, and so I’m now posting in both places, and though Tumblr tells me I have 314,457 followers, versus 1,094 on Instagram, the number of likes I get on each is surprisingly similar...
