Dimeng Yuan is a Composer/Arranger from China, graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He is studying Film Scoring at NYU.A member of the HOYO-MiX team since January 2020, Dimeng Yuan debuted in the album "The Stellar Moments". He co-composed most and arranged all soundtracks in the album. In addition, he performed the electric guitar for the tracks. His first solo composer work came in "The Stellar Moments Vol. 2", his highlighted works being "Blossoms of Summer Night" and "Shirasagi Princess." In "The Shimmering Voyage", he orchestrated and performed the electric guitar for several tracks. After arranging the song "Devastation and Redemption," Yuan composed a few soundtracks for "Islands of the Lost and Forgotten". In the album "Millelith's Watch", he composed the music for the Glowing Narrow area of The Chasm and co-composed a few tracks with Yijun Jiang .
Under the name Xiaoming, he appeared as a guest in the first three issues of the official HOYO-MiX Q&A Column of Echoes. Yuan cited Final Fantasy VI as his introduction to music. Among the classical composers who influenced him wereFrédéric Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
