|0.44km from city centerWent with another couple and we had a fantastic time. This hotel was so close to so many amenities and great restaurants (all in walking distances). Love how you can have coffee/tea at the lounge before or after you go back to the room…loved the free water near the elevators. Most of the staff are super friendly. The rooms were pretty basic and met are needs. Now you would ask why I gave it a 3 star rating….well, this whole trip was paid by my daughters for their father’s birthday early September…3 weeks later we got charged again… my husband left 3 phone messages and an email to the manager at this hotel BUT never received a response….he was totally responsible for me giving this hotel a 3 star rating!!!

|3.48km from city centerWe’re loyal Marriott Bonvoy members and have stayed at all their branded hotel chains. Our stay here exceeded my expectations. Although the (newish) hotel is a little south of the city center, and not in the best area, we felt safe walking about during the day. The hotel is about a mile from the MFA and Gardiner museums. There’s a bus stop just outside the hotel too, which makes it easy to use public transport to navigate the city. The front desk and dining room staff were exceptionally nice, professional, and accommodating. One morning, I observed the kitchen staff going above and beyond to assist a guest who made a special request. The rooms were impeccably clean and well designed. We loved the big shower! My pet peeve is hotel rooms that don’t have well designed window treatments, so a ribbon of sunlight shines through the edge of the window covering and wakes you up in the morning. I was impressed that our room had special light blockers along the edge of the window frame so this wouldn’t happen. You can tell someone thought of the traveler’s needs when designing the room. All in all, this is a very nice hotel and one in which I will stay in the next time we travel to Boston.

|1.12km from city centerWe loved this place. Friendly and helpful staff. The Top Bar and restaurant were both incredible and had great drink options. The rooms are smaller (think Europe) but get over that quick and you are central in the Theater District! We absolutely loved the place! Super charming and clean!! I imagine this was once an apartment building or hostel but now they turned it chic and cool. We will definitely return!! Thanks Moxy.

|1.16km from city centerOverall decent clean hotel and great location but we had some issues with service which is why we only gave 3 stars. Parking on website is misleading. It states they have valet for $50 and park yourself for $20. What they dont tell you is if you park yourself its only for 4 hours, totally misleading. We parked in municipal lot, no in/out privileges for $34 per night. When we talked to front desk about misleading parking they simply said that's the way it is Got there first night and asked for an extra pillow. Told they would bring it up. After waiting 2 hours called front desk and they answered by saying hello we dont have any extra pillows. I asked if they were going to tell me that and they told me they just realized it. Not good service. Housekeeping every other day only. They knocked on our door at 830 in the morning. We asked that they come bcak later. We came back to room at 6pm to find they never came back. Breakfast was ok, but it was free. Shout out to the staff who handled breakfsst, they worked hard to keep everyone fed and kept the place super clean. 24 hour coffee was good but also empty several times during our stay and simply removed and not replaced. No dish soap provided for kitchenette. We would likely stay here again for the rate knowing that service might not be perfect.

|1.31km from city centerA great stay for three nights. I stayed here several years ago when the hotel was under another name/management, but would say that the new management really improved it. Hotel location is superb - close to shopping, restaurants, attractions, and bars. It's really at the center of the city. Hotel staff was most willing to help and courteous at all time. The library lounge provides a good place to chat and have some snacks. One can also order drinks from the bar to the lounge. Bed was comfortable and room very clean. Really no complaint and just excellent throughout. Be sure to get a room with a view of the park. The view is spectacular at sunset.

Boston
|1.04km from city centerThe location of this hostel is amazing! I stayed there for two nights in a six bed female dorm. The sheets were fresh and the hostel clean. Looking at some reviews here please keep something in mind: This is a hostel with a lot of people going in and out. Boston is an expensive city and you can’t find hotels in that location for less that $300-400 a night during busy seasons. So while this hostel might seem expensive at first, it is relatively cheap in comparison to hotels. Also consider the taxes. My bed was $69 but after tax, membership and all, I came close to a $100. Also, you’ll be sharing a room. There will be people coming in and out….what else would you expect? Earplugs and eyeshades go a long way. People come to Boston for different reasons, so they won’t be on the same schedule as you! However I thought everyone did great sticking to the quite times from 11-7. The mornings can get busy using the bathrooms, so plan accordingly. I thought it was a really cool place where you could work to many sights! I am glad I stayed there and saved myself from getting expensive hotels. Instead I used the saved money to explore the city’s sights, great coffees and delicious restaurants! Great stay!

Boston
|1.87km from city centerI chose this hotel for three reasons – modern swanky look, closeness to T line station and moderate price for Boston during the period we stayed in the city i.e., if you could think an average rate of $350 is moderate ☹ The staff were quite pleasant – some more pleasant than others. Although the hotel was very busy, they are kind enough to afford us a couple of hours of late checkout at no cost. The room I stayed in had a simple but cool design cool. I liked everything about the room but not the fact that the rooms had carpets in them. I am sure it saves the hotel a bundle during the winters but its not the best hygienically speaking for clients. However, carpets in the hallway are a very good feature as it makes for a quieter stay ie less noise from the hallways My room was located the 13th floor. I felt lucky for the great city view. Although I did not like my very very small room and wardrobe. My wife and I had to hop over suitcases and around ourselves to get around the room. I liked the room toilet (albeit as small as it was) which was probably the best design feature of the room. The HVAC system is a bit loud when it comes on but I got used to it. The bed was comfortable. My wife and I slept really well. It’s a basic hotel with WIFI in the room but no laundry or room service etc. The hotel doesn’t provide proper breakfast or breakfast spread but has a contracted restaurant on site but its not quite the hotel breakfast you need to start your day. We didn’t get complimentary water in the room although the room has complimentary coffee and tea. What was annoying was that they sold water at an outrageous price of $5 per bottle in the lobby. They also did not replace the coffee that I used on day one. There are some convenience stores on West Broadway close to the hotel that we were able to buy water at a more reasonable price. Lastly, the hotel was busy and we returned in the evening of our last night to find out day unmade but we called and they sent – someone who I think was a handy man – not necessarily a house keeper to make the bed. The key question is – would I stay here again? Yes, especially if the more central Boston hotels have ridiculous prices. Its clean, safe and easy to get to the airport by taxi and other parts of Boston on the T network.

Boston
|1.23km from city centerThis location was excellent for experiencing many of the historic sites in Boston. A short walk to Boston Common, and many great dining options within walking distance. Overnight parking is a bit steep ($60/night). The valet and front desk staff were all pleasant to speak to, respectful and kind. The room itself has one of the heaviest doors I've ever had to use in a hotel. Really takes some muscle! Despite this, the door didn't block the hallway sound, especially since we were right across from the ice maker. The room was small but not unreasonable. The bed was comfortable, and there was a refrigerator, but it was awkwardly placed on the floor next to the desk. It stuck out from the space so was odd. There was no microwave, but a shared microwave near the ice maker. There was a desk and chair, as well as a couple of drawers. The closet was small, but had an ironing board and iron, as well as a luggage holder. The bathroom was small, and had a sliding door, which we did not like at all. All sound was heard, which is not pleasant. There also was no exhaust fan. The slider into the shower was very narrow to enter. The water pressure was good, but it was very easy to get water everywhere in this bathroom. There was a good amount of counter space for us to set our things, as well as an outlet for hair products. The TV was large and worked well for us. There is no included breakfast, but there is breakfast offered onsite for a fee. We had the Saturday breakfast buffet for $26/person. We had custom made omelets, as well as waffles and bagels. Lots of options, with serving staff to bring beverages and anything else you may need. A little steep in the cost, but a good breakfast. This was our first visit to Boston, and will probably be the last one we take driving on our own, so having the option to park and walk to places was welcome.

|8km from city centerThe good: • Location • Server in the breakfast bar was friendly and attentive • Front desk staff was polite and friendly; offered me an umbrella during the rain The bad: • Room Condition: o Toilet seat – there was a urine stain about the size of a dime on the seat, which I had to clean and sanitize upon arrival o Rug was filthy – when I walked barefoot, dust, lint and random particles stuck to my feet. I had to frequently rinse my feet in the shower to get all the grime off o Thin walls/ceilings – I could hear the guest in room 322 snoring like a bear each and every night. And on Weds night, the room above me (420?) sounded like a heard of elephants o Lights – I could not locate a switch to turn on the wall sconces adjacent the bed o Shampoo/Soap dispenser – the screw was unscrewed so the assembly kept falling apart when I used the shampoo & conditioner o Bar – closed; business travelers look forward to a drink at the end of the day and an opportunity to socialize w/ other guests • Front desk staff did not greet me as a Bonvoy Platinum member nor offer a choice of hotel credit or points. I will not recommend this AC Marriott to my colleagues until these issues were addressed.

|3.67km from city centerThe room is quite decent, typical of an American inn, but the service is great. The front desk is as welcoming as a family member, and they even helped me buy NBA tickets. Especially the lady at the front desk talked about my dear, which is so heart-warming... Also The two men were a little lacking, but the overall situation was still good. The buffet breakfast options were enough to fill you up. Compared to the room rate, the complimentary breakfast was so delicious! The key is the underground laundry room, which is Virgo’s favorite. I will stay there again if I have the opportunity. It’s so convenient to have a self-driving car, and the parking fee of 20 US dollars a day is also acceptable😍😍

|0.57km from city centerThis Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude.
There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel.
Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation.
In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

|2.04km from city centerWe visited Boston to watch a musical and this hotel was one of the closest to the theater and it was not as exorbitant in pricing like others were. As you walk in you notice that the lobby is huge. They have a bar/restaurant and already two other restaurant at the facility. We checked in which was quick. The hotel was very clean and nice. We went to our room the 10th floor, it was a double which was fine but the bed was very small. It literally felt like I was on a twin bed. The room was plenty big enough and the bathroom was large and clean. One of the cooler things about this hotel is that they had a wall which was essentially a huge led screen which had various images of Boston. I was literally sitting at the lobby and watching the sites while sitting there-Way Cool!

This past visit, we had to navigate some tight scheduling on our part and S. from the front desk helped us out, not only by letting us check in early, but also getting us set with a beautifully spacious room. He was super approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about the goings-on of the hotel. Hotel Commonwealth has amazing amenities. We've stayed in both Fenway-facing and non-Fenway facing Queen rooms. The Malin and Goetz bathroom products are always refreshing and having chrome-cast available in the rooms is ingenious. Complimentary coffee on the second floor is a must (7a-10a), and the valets' efficiency makes for a perfect start and end to any trip! |3.52km from city centerAfter Ctrip had paid the room rate, the next day after leaving the hotel, the credit card was deducted from another $ 113.8. We called back to ask the hotel. The customer service phone was so difficult to get through without saying that we were not deducted from our two sums. After looking for Ctrip customer service to communicate to the present 20 days, the hotel has repeatedly answered the reasons for the deduction of 4, 5 versions. Including the middle said that a refund has been made to another credit card we have never seen before, and later changed to no refund on that card. So far no explanation has been given to us. I also refused to confirm the credit card information with Ctrip customer service, and said that our credit card and the guest's name are not correct. The efficiency is also extremely slow. Basically, it can communicate once every three working days, one version at a time. In addition, the hotel was very noisy in the corridor at 10 o'clock that night. There were people who were walking back and forth. There was a bar downstairs.

|4.64km from city centerWe stay at a lot of Marriotts, and weren't terrible impressed by this one. We spent the night before leaving on a cruise in the morning. We checked in early (which we appreciated) because we had an overnight flight. The room was fine, but the bathtub needs a professional grouting and to be resurfaced. It looks like it was done by someone who didn't know what they were doing, sloppy and peeling. Being near the airport, the late-night flights made for a noisy night. Construction work being done at night also contributed lots of truck-backing-up noise, plus close-by traffic. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant offered only the buffet option at $21 or Continental breakfast at $19, and the Platinum Elite status only offered a $10 credit. The buffet was at best a $10 value, so we ended up going back to the front desk and taking the points instead. It was an insult to be expected to pay an additional $11 for some scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes considering that the other choices were all carbs (waffles, pancakes, cereal, fruit, pastries, etc). If I'm going to have a $21 breakfast it would be at a real restaurant with omelets, quiches and other menu offerings.
