|0.42km from city centerNew hotel, clean and hygienic. Did not order breakfast at the hotel. There are also McDonald's around. If you are in a supermarket, you need to walk for about 20 minutes. There is a REWE. The hotel has its own parking lot. We booked a triple room which is very suitable for a family of three or three adults. It is highly recommended to turn left after exiting the hotel door, and turn to the Thai food about 300 meters across the road. The price is affordable and the amount is sufficient.

|2.75km from city centerBooked very last minute via the hotel website. We took a taxi from the main train station which was took roughly 10 minutes and cost €15. The hotel is located back from the main tourist area but only 5 minutes walk so it’s peaceful yet not too far from bars/restaurants and tourist things to do. The hotel is set within a traditional building with lovely details such as the roof and windows. Our room (223) was on the top floor, it has access to a roof terrace with tables and chairs and overlooks the nearby historic buildings. Our room was modern and spacious with crisp white linen bedding and lots of storage. The biggest plus for this hotel was the air con, temperatures were hitting 33 whilst we were there so this was great. We ate breakfast once, there was lots of seating and enough to get you going in the morning. We are not big breakfast people. We loved our time at the Arthotel and would certainly return if in the area again. I’d recommend booking direct as some of the comparison websites were charging more. Big mention to Katharina who welcomed us and assisted us with some questions about the local area, she was very warm and helpful.

So we were actually meant to be staying in an apartment in Heidelberg but the owner got in touch a few days before to say that there was an issue with it and can we stay in their sister hotel the BS boutique. We knew there had been lots of flooding the weeks before and I’m not sure if that is why but as we were offered a free breakfast and a partial refund we didn’t want to cause any stress so we accepted the hotel. Very glad we did as it was stunning and super clean with fantastic staff. Everything in this hotel is quality. The doors and windows had amazing sound proofing. Totally quiet at night and the comfiest beds and pillows. A big thank you for making our trip to Heidelberg special. It’s a beautiful city.

|1.03km from city centerNice, small, simple hotel with very clean and spacious rooms. The reception is occupied from 15 - 19 a.m. with a very nice and extremely helpful young lady. Outside these times, contact with the staff is made by phone, but we didn't have to use it, because everything was in good condition. In addition, there are also contactless possibilities for check-in and check-out (e.g. electronic check-in terminal). We had booked two rooms (double and three-bed rooms). The very spacious double room was marked with very interesting ”Winter garden”-flair through a series of roof windows was equipped with a small kitchen, but we did not try it except for the coffee machine. Unfortunately, it was a little cold in the room as the heating did not entirely warm the whole volume. In the three-bed room our children had been in the room. Also here there was enough room and a coffee machine. The hotel is located near a train station. From there you are in a few stations at the Bismarck Square and can actually discover all Heidelberg conveniently. For cars the city is rather nothing. Also around the hotel are parking defects. The accommodation has just two guest parking places, each for €14 per day. According to the reception, a temporary parking card would also be for the respective city area for €10 per day available. That's why we didn't care. In the immediate vicinity there is a pizzeria ”Da Baggio” that looks very comfortable but probably is also well frequented. In any case, there was no place for us spontaneously. A few meters away, but still walking well to reach, the pizzeria is ”Da Vinci”. Prices are high, but the food is very delicious. For saving guests there is also a bridge service nearby.

The breakfast buffet is very extensive and well operated. We also ate once for dinner ate at the hotel restaurant and the hamburgers and fries are exceptional. (We had young adults in our group.) The Executive Lounge has a great view of the river if you have access. One warning. If you need an accessible bathroom, this is NOT the place for you. The showers are old school in a high wall bath tub. The other caution is the location is not adjacent to the Old Town. You may need to use buses, trams, or Uber/taxicab.

A hotel, a small room with a double bed, 40 cm left to windows & heaters and 40 cm right to the wall and a large bathroom, heavenly roll-friendly. Even if with the toilet roller inaccessible in the back but otherwise good. How to get to bed with the wheelchair? Find another hotel at 20:00 Sunday? The anger was buffled by a student's over-required late service, who then called the boss to ask the advice, simply push the beds out, exchange the big lake for 2x new. We then received beds. In the night I need support when moving, a double bed therefore actually no alternative. In fact, then 4 hours sleep with the nose on the heat body. The negative feedback the next morning irritated; the beds could be stripped out without problems. They would always be done like that. And the bathroom is so large and really great accessible. Just with the note that you should in any case look at the rooms before, whether the room is suitable. If the recommender knows the room? But yes and problems would never have been there. Even e-Rollis would be suitable. You just push the beds out without problems. And the bathroom is so large and really great accessible. Since then I have been thinking about where the problem is to solve the problem without problem in an desirable way before the guests arrive and the problem? If I wanted to go from Bonn to shower to Heidelberg, the Neuheidelberg Wohlfühlhotel would be my first address. And for breakfast, the buffet does not leave any wishes open. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods--from fresh baked bread, to make your own waffles, to cheeses, eggs and other foods. The staff at the buffet was very helpful and lovely. The hotel is well located just a few blocks from the Alstadt (old city) and it was easy to walk everywhere from there. It's also right next to the bus/tram station. However, a few things you need to know before you book this hotel. 1) The reception desk is only staffed until early evening. 2) Housekeeping is sporadic. We were there for 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once. 3) There is no air conditioning. We had a fan in the room and opened the windows and it was bearable at night, but not super cool. On a very hot day or night this could really be an issue. 4) With the windows open, it is really noisy, particularly because the bus and tram station is right across the street. 5) There is no shampoo or conditioner provided--only hand soap at the sink and body soap in the shower. However, there's a drug store across the street where you can get what you need. 6) There are small sets of stairs that you may have to go up and down on the floor where the rooms are. If you have mobility issues, try to ask about this when you book so that you get a room where this won't be an issue. We had a very nice stay, but those are things I would have liked to know before I booked, so I thought I'd include them in a review.

However, it is very well accessible with public transport from the main train station. The train is almost walking out of the door. The rooms are convenient and very clean. I even had a small balcony at the room. If you want to make something to eat yourself, there is even a kitchen for the guests. Parking are directly at the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the chef makes egg food fresh. The next time I will stay there again.

|2.92km from city centerI pass through Heidelberg a lot on business, and have only taken the time to stay overnight once before, partially because I haven't been too keen to stay in any of the hotels in the Old City. Most are kind of run-down and stuffy; some are quite expensive and stuffy. Villa Marstall is neither. The hotel is in a beautiful old villa right on the river with incredible views of the river, trees, rowers and other boats, and the looming green mountain and Philosopher's Way across the water. Views towards the city encompass old buildings, the churches, and the famous castle. You are a short walk from pretty much everything worth seeing, or doing, or eating, or drinking in this awesome little city. And even though the building is classic and old, the rooms are recently renovated and modern, leaving some nice period details, like exposed beams and brick in some places. They're furnished in a clean, white, simple style. The breakfast--which is not included in the price (understandable, given the reasonableness of their rates)--is good but not great. I think that when the hotel is busier, there is probably more selection. And in any event, the breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. And all this comes at a very reasonable price tag; I would normally expect to spend 1.5x or 2x what I did for such a nice experience. Highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be back!

Although our room wasn't quite ready on check in because the hotel was sold out, we were able to leave our luggage here and begin our visit to Heidelberg. We dealt with 2 girls at reception, both incredibly busy but incredibly helpful. I couldn't praise them enough. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous too, with so much to choose from. The rooms were spotless and clearly newly decorated. Everything was to notch - I couldn't fault it. The rooftop bar is worth a visit too - a little expensive, but the views are fabulous. Be warned that it gets super busy (as expected) if the weather is nice.

As our travels to Heidelberg went alot smoother than expected, we called the hotel to see if we could book an extra night, so we had longer time to explore the City of Heidelberg. The guy i spoke to in the phone was very friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect english. He made a reservation for an extra night, in the same room as the following night. Check-in went smoothly, and the room was just perfect! As it was really hot when we visited Heidelbeg (+ 30 *C), we really appriciated the arcondition and the possibility to open af window. The room was very spacious, and so was the Bathroom. i think it is the first hotel i have stayed at, were it was possible to open the Bathroom window, which was really nice. We did not eat any meals at the hotel, but we visited the Bar a couple of times, and had the most fabulous cocktails. The Bartender( bar mamager) was very friendly! We had most of our cocktails at the Rooftop bar, and it was just perfect! Bahnstedt is a very unique area, and we enjoyed staying here. We would hihgly recommend this hotel for other guests.

Although the furnishings are more old-school the service is top notch. The front desk, bellman, servers - everyone was extremely helpful and cheerful. It was a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of the town and our room was quite comfortable - the sitting area was nice to have so we could relax a bit before dinner. It was a beautiful early June day filled with the ambiance of the street and across from the scenic church, Heilggeistkirche. We thought our service was just fine, prompt and friendly. We first ordered cold beers. I did have a sausage with sauerkraut and potatoes with mustard on the side. Everything was delicious. We were there well over an hour and enjoyed every minute.
