Reburrus was van Germaanse afkomst en diende in een hulptroepeneenheid van het Romeinse leger. De Ala Frontoniana was in de eerste eeuw eerst in Bonn, dan in de omgeving van Moers Asberg gestationeerd. In the 1st century the Ala Frontoniana was stationed first in Bonn, then in the area of Moers-Asberg.
