My name is David Barera. Lawrence Barera, who is now deceased, was my father and took most of these railroad photographs. Unless otherwise noted, either my father (Lawrence) or I (David) took these photographs. Michael Barera, my son, is helping me upload the photographs and manage this account.

These images are digitized slides. Digitization and color correction was done by David Erdody of A2Digital, while Michael made rotation adjustments and cropped the digital images using GIMP. Color correction of the three Chicago South Shore and South Bend interurban images was done by Wikimedian MagentaGreen.
