Here, we report the kinematical parameters of inner-halo hot subdwarfs located within (d lower than or equal 15 kpc) at high Galactic latitudes (b^o greater than or equal 20). The study included three program stars for one of the extreme He-rich groups (eHe-1) with eccentricity (e=0.65) and the z-component of the angular momentum (J_z=4288.66 kpc km s-1), the inner halo program I with 121 points (T_eff greater than or equal 24,000) and their subsections, i.e. inner halo program II (sdB; 79 points) with (40,000 greater than or equal T_eff greater than or equal 24,000) and inner halo program III (sdO; 42 points) with (80,000 greater than or equal T_eff greater than or equal 40,000). First, we calculated the spatial velocities (U_avg, V_avg, W_avg; km s-1) along the Galactic coordinates and subsequently their subsections sdB and sdO. Second, we calculated the vertex longitudes (l_2) and the Solar motion (S_sun=41.24 +/- 6.42 km s-1) as well as their subsections. Finally, based on the kinematic relation of the ratio (s_2/s_1) and our previously computed numerical value of the angular rotation rate (|A-B|=26.07 +/- 5.10; km s-1 kpc-1), we obtained the average Oort's constant.

CONTEXT: The Villafranca project is combining Gaia data with ground-based surveys to analyze Galactic stellar groups with OB stars.
AIMS: We want to analyze Stock 18 within the Villafranca project, a very young stellar cluster with a symmetrical and compact H II region around it.
METHODS: We analyze the core, massive-star population, extinction, distance, membership, internal dynamics, density profile, age, IMF, total mass, stellar variability, and Galactic location of Stock 18 with Gaia data and ground-based spectroscopy.
RESULTS: Stock 18 is a very young (~1.0 Ma) cluster located at a distance of 2.91+-0.10 kpc dominated by the GLS 13 370 system, whose primary is an O9 V star. We propose that Stock 18 was in a very compact state (~0.1 pc) about 1.0 Ma ago and that most massive stars were ejected at that time without significantly affecting the less massive stars as a result of multi-body dynamical interactions. Given its age close to 1.0 Ma, the dynamical interactions took place very soon after massive star formation. Well defined expanding stellar clusters have been observed before but none as young as this one. The IMF is top heavy but if we discard the ejected ones it becomes nearly canonical. Therefore, this is another example in addition to the one we previously found (the Bermuda cluster) of (a) a very young cluster with an already evolved PDMF (b) that has significantly contributed to the future population of free-floating compact objects. If confirmed in more clusters, the number of such compact objects may be higher in the Milky Way than previously thought. Stock 18 has a variable extinction with an average value of R_5495 higher than the canonical one of 3.1. The cluster is above our Galactic mid-plane and has a distinct motion with respect to its surrounding old population, which is possibly an influence of the Perseus spiral arm.

This study reports the first comprehensive astrometric, photometric and kinematical analysis of four newly discovered open clusters; namely QC1, QC2, QC3, and QC4, using astrometric and photometric data from the most recent Gaia EDR3 for G<17 mag. Utilizing the ASteCA code, we identified the most probable (P>=50%) star candidates and found the numbers of star members (N) to be 118 (QC1), 142(QC2), 210 (QC3), and 110 (QC4). By fitting King's density profile to the cluster's RDPs, we found the internal structural parameters of each cluster such as the cluster radii that are in the range 7.00 to 11.00arcmin. For each cluster we constructed the CMD and by fitting them with suitable isochrones we found that the metallicity range is (0.0152-0.0199) which is in line with the Solar value, the logarithmic age (in yrs) range between 6.987 and 8.858. The distances derived from CMD are 1674+/-41, 1927+/-44, 1889+/-43,and 1611+/-40 (pc) for QC1, QC2, QC3, and QC4, respectively, and they are in good agreement up to 85% with the values obtained from the astrometric data. In addition, from the MLR of the clusters, we obtained a total mass, M_C in Solar units, of 158, 177, 232, and 182 and an absolute magnitude MG(mag)of 4.33, 3.80, 4.25, and 4.10 for QC1, QC2, QC3, and QC4, respectively. The dynamical analysis and evolution parameters of the cluster members indicated that all the four clusters are dynamically relaxed;except QC1 which has an evolution parameter tau=0.82 that indicates a dynamical activity within the cluster. From the kinematical analysis of the cluster data, we computed the space velocity, the coordinates of the apex point (A,D) using the AD-diagram method, as well as the Solar elements (S_sun, l_A, b_A,alpha_A,delta_A)

Truly, kinematics in the Solar neighborhood has provided important information both for the structure and for the evolution of the Galaxy since the early 20th century. The relationship between Oort constants and the ratio of the velocity dispersion are important quantities in stellar kinematics. In the present paper, we calculated the kinematical parameters and the Oort constants of various samples of late to intermediate M-type stars. We calculated the velocity dispersion (σ_1,σ_2,σ_3 ) in units of km s-1 for the samples under study. The longitude of the vertex (l_2 ) having negative values with our analysis; i.e., the program I (538 stars), l_2 =-0_.^o 5410, program II (100 stars), l_2=-0_.^o 4937 and program III (60 stars), l_2=-0_.^o 9495. We calculate the Oort constants as A=14.69+-0.61 km s-1 kpc-1 and B=-16.70+-0.67 km s-1 kpc-1, and the rotational velocity V_o=257.38+-9.40 km s^(-1). A possible explanation for the overestimated values of the second Oort constants has been presented.

We carry out detailed photometric and kinematic study of the poorly studied sparse open clusters SAI 44 and SAI 45 using ground based BVR$_{c}$I$_{c}$ data supplemented by archival data from \textit{Gaia} eDR3 and Pan-STARRS. The stellar membership are determined using a statistical method based on \textit{Gaia} eDR3 kinematic data and we found 204 members in SAI 44 while only 74 members are identified in SAI 45. The average distances to SAI 44 and SAI 45 are calculated as 3670$\pm$184 and 1668$\pm$47 pc. The logarithmic age of the clusters are determined as 8.82$\pm$0.10 and 9.07$\pm$0.10 years for SAI 44 and SAI 45, respectively. The color-magnitude diagram of SAI 45 hosts an extended main-sequence turn-off (eMSTO) which may be originated through differential rotation rates of member stars. The mass function slopes are obtained as -1.75$\pm$0.72 and -2.58$\pm$3.20 in the mass rages 2.426-0.990 M$_{\odot}$ and 2.167-1.202 M$_{\odot}$ for SAI 44 and SAI 45, respectively. SAI 44 exhibit the signature of mass segregation while we found a weak evidence of the mass segregation in SAI 45 possibly due to tidal striping. The dynamical relaxation times of these clusters indicate that both the clusters are in dynamically relaxed state. Using AD-diagram method, the apex coordinates are found to be (69$\fdg79\pm0\fdg11$, -30$\fdg82\pm0\fdg15$) for SAI 44 and (-56$\fdg22\pm0\fdg13$, -56$\fdg62\pm0\fdg13$) for SAI 45. The average space velocity components of the clusters SAI 44 and SAI 45 are calculated in units of km s$^{-1}$ as (-15.14$\pm$3.90, -19.43$\pm$4.41, -20.85$\pm$4.57) and (28.13$\pm$5.30, -9.78$\pm$3.13, -19.59$\pm$4.43), respectively.

The membership determination for open clusters in noisy environments of the Milky Way is still an open problem. In this paper, our main aim is provide the membership probability of stars using proper motions and parallax values of stars using Gaia EDR3 astrometry. Apart from the Gaia astrometry, we have also used other photometric data sets like UKIDSS, WISE, APASS and Pan-STARRS1 in order to understand cluster properties from optical to mid-infrared regions. We selected 438 likely members with membership probability higher than $50\%$ and G$\le$20 mag. We obtained the mean value of proper motion as $μ_{x}=1.27\pm0.001$ and $μ_{y}=-0.73\pm0.002$ mas yr$^{-1}$. The cluster's radius is determined as 7.5 arcmin (5.67 pc) using radial density profile. Our analysis suggests that NGC 1348 is located at a distance of $2.6\pm0.05$ kpc. The mass function slope is found to be $1.30\pm0.18$ in the mass range 1.0$-$4.1 $M_\odot$, which is in fair agreement with Salpeter's value within the 1$σ$ uncertainty. The present study validates that NGC 1348 is a dynamically relaxed cluster. We computed the apex coordinates $(A, D)$ for NGC 1348 as $(A_\circ, D_\circ)$ = $(-23^{\textrm{o}}.815\pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.135$, $-22^{\textrm{o}}.228\pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.105)$. In addition, calculations of the velocity ellipsoid parameters (VEPs), matrix elements $μ_{ij}$, direction cosines ($l_j$, $m_j$, $n_j$) and the Galactic longitude of the vertex have been also conducted in this analysis.

The orbits of visual binary systems still attract many of the working groups in astronomy. These orbits are the most important and reliable source of the stellar masse. In the present paper, we are going to compute orbits and dynamical masses of some visual binaries using an independent code. We used Kowalsky method to compute the geometrical elements. The dynamical elements (the period and the time of the periastron passage) are computed by implementing the double areal constant. We used the developed code to calculate the orbits for the four visual binaries, WDS J02262+3428, WDS J14310-0548, WDS J17466-0354, and WDS J12422+2622. We introduced a new orbit of the neglected visual binary WDS J17466-0354 and modified orbits for the rest three binaries. Using the Gaia DR2 parallaxes we computed the total masses of the systems. Comparing the adopted total masses with those derived from the spectral type relation revealed good agreement.

We present a comprehensive analysis (photometric and kinematical) of poorly studied open cluster NGC 4337 using 2MASS, WISE, APASS, and Gaia~DR2 database. By determining the membership probabilities of stars, we identified 624 most probable members with membership probability higher than $50\%$ by using proper motion and parallax data taken from Gaia~DR2. The mean proper motion of the cluster is obtained as $μ_{x}=-8.83\pm0.01$ and $μ_{y}=1.49\pm0.006$ mas yr$^{-1}$. We find the normal interstellar extinction towards the cluster region. The radial distribution of members provides a cluster radius of 7.75 arcmin (5.63 pc). The estimated age of $1600\pm180$ Myr indicates that NGC 4337 is an old open cluster with a bunch of red giant stars. The overall mass function slope for main-sequence stars is found as $1.46\pm0.18$ within the mass range 0.75$-$2.0 $M_\odot$, which is in fair agreement with Salpeter's value (x=1.35) within uncertainty. The present study demonstrates that NGC 4337 is a dynamically relaxed open cluster. Using the Galactic potential model, Galactic orbits are obtained for NGC 4337. We found that this object follows a circular path around the Galactic center. Under the kinematical analysis, we compute the apex coordinates $(A, D)$ by using two methods: (i) the classical convergent point method and (ii) the AD-diagram method. The obtained coordinates are: $(A_{conv}, D_{conv})$ = (96$^{\textrm{o}}$.27 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.10, 13$^{\textrm{o}}$.14 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.27) $\&$ $(A_\circ, D_\circ)$ = (100$^{\textrm{o}}$.282 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.10, 9$^{\textrm{o}}$.577 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.323) respectively. We also computed the Velocity Ellipsoid Parameters (VEPs), matrix elements ($μ_{ij}$), direction cosines ($l_j$, $m_j$, $n_j$) and the Galactic longitude of the vertex ($l_2$).

The positions of the stars in the disk and the spatial dispersion velocities are determined. The paths of cluster and associated stream are traced in the disk by orbit calculation back in time to their places of formation. A possible genetic relationship between the cluster and the stream has been detected. The approximation of the spatial and kinematical shape of the stream and the cluster is made. According to this study, even though currently the cluster and the stream seem to have spatial difference in their locations but they appear to have formed in the same region of the Galactic disk.

The apexes positions with AD-diagram method are computed for about 107, 168, 98, and 154 members of these star clusters, respectively, our calculated values of apex coordinates, seems like: (A, D) = (102.40 +/- 1.02 & -4.60 +/- 0.47; NGC 5999), (96.69 +/- 1.10 & -0.58 +/- 0.045; UFMG 1), (97.47 +/- 1.09 & 1.56 +/- 0.051; UFMG 2), and (98.65 +/- 1.12 & -0.26 +/- 0.060; UFMG 3). On the other hand, Velocity Ellipsoid Parameters VEPs for those are also computed; e.g. space velocities due to Galactic coordinates, dispersion velocities (sigma_1, sigma_2, sigma_3) due to matrix elements for all ij, projected distances (X_sun, Y_sun, Z_sun) on the plane disc, and the Solar elements (S_sun, l_A, b_A). According to an approximation of spatial and kinematical shape, UFMGs and NGC 5999 seem to have a spatial difference in their space locations but they appear to have formed in the same region of the Galactic disc. The total cumulative mass MC; including total number of main-sequence NMS and non-main-sequence Nnon-MS of these clusters also evaluated here with a second-order polynomial of mass-luminosity relation in order to get clusters tidal radii (pc). Finally, we concluded that NGC 5999, UFMG 1, and UFMG 2 are dynamically relaxed (i.e. tau >> 1), and the fourth one in non-relaxed.

In this article, we present a morphological study of the well-known extended sized open clusters in the sky, Melotte 22 (Pleiades) and Melotte 25 (Hyades) with J, H, and Ks regions due to Gaia DR2 and PPMXL catalogues. Based on proper motions of these clusters, we extract our candidates and hence constructing fitting isochrones with Solar metallicity Z = 0.019, log (age) = 8.2 +- 0.05 for Melotte 22, and metallicity Z = 0.024, log (age) = 8.9 +- 0.10 for Melotte 25. Some photometric parameters are estimated, e.g. cluster heliocentric distances are 135 +- 3.6 and 47.51 +- 2.15 pc respectively, luminosity and mass functions with mass-luminosity relation MLR of the second order polynomial, and we have estimated the masses of Melotte 22 and Melotte 25 as 662.476 +- 25.73 Msun and 513.819 +- 22.65 Msun. The relaxation times of these clusters are smaller than the estimated cluster ages, which indicate that these clusters are dynamically relaxed. The second part is devoted to some kinematics of these clusters due to internal and/or motion of members, the apex position is 95.60 +- 0.10, -48.21 +- 0.14 for Melotte 22, and 96.72 +- 1.15, 5.66 +- 0.12 for Melotte 25. Also we have determined the components of space velocity and the cluster centers in pc as well as elements of the Solar motion. The results are in good agreement with those in the literature.

Single stars are used to improve accuracy by eliminating orbital movements. RAVE DR5 measurements were taken only for the stars with the radial velocity errors not exceeding $2$~km/s. For the Pleiades stars taken from Gaia, we found mean heliocentric distance as $136.8 \pm 6.4$~pc, and the apex position is calculated as: $A_{CP}=92^\circ.52\pm1^\circ.72$, $D_{CP}=-42^\circ.28\pm2^\circ.56$ by the convergent point method and $A_0=95^\circ.59\pm2^\circ.30$ and $D_0=-50^\circ.90\pm2^\circ.04$ using AD-diagram method (n=17 in both cases). The results are compared with those obtained historically before the Gaia mission era.

In this paper, some statistical distributions of wide pairs included in Double Star Catalogue are investigated. Frequency distributions and testing hypothesis are derived for some basic parameters of visual binaries. The results reached indicate that, it was found that the magnitude difference is distributed exponentially, which means that the majority of the component of the selected systems is of the same spectral type. The distribution of the mass ratios is concentrated about 0.7 which agree with Salpeter mass function. The distribution of the linear separation appears to be exponentially, which contradict with previous studies for close binaries.

Abstract:
In this paper, we present our results for the photometric and kinematical studies of old open cluster NGC 188. We determined various astrophysical parameters like limited radius, core and tidal radii, distance, luminosity and mass functions, total mass, relaxation time etc. for the cluster using 2MASS catalog. We obtained the cluster's distance from the Sun as 1721+/-41 pc and log (age)= 9.85+/-0.…

We obtained the cluster's distance from the Sun as 1721+/-41 pc and log (age)= 9.85+/-0.05 at Solar metallicity. The relaxation time of the cluster is smaller than the estimated cluster age which suggests that the cluster is dynamically relaxed. Our results agree with the values mentioned in the literature. We also determined the cluster's apex coordinates as (281.88 deg, -44.76 deg) using AD-diagram method. Other kinematical parameters like space velocity components, cluster center and elements of Solar motion etc. have also been computed.

Abstract:
To determine the velocity ellipsoid of the solar neighborhood white dwarfs, we use the space velocity components of stars. Two samples of white dwarfs are used, 20 pc and 25 pc samples. Beside the two main samples, the solar velocity and velocity dispersions are calculated for the four subsamples, namely DA, non - DA, hot and cool white dwarfs. Comparison between the results of 20 pc sample and those of 25 pc sample gives good agreement, while the comparison between the other subsamples gives bad agreement. Dependence of the velocity dispersions and solar velocity on the chemical composition and effective temperatures are discussed.
