This stamp may not be copyrighted per {{PD-PhilippinesGov}}, but the underlying painting is not. The painting is a derivative of the 1999 portraiture of the saint by Rafael del Casal. This painting still falls under the current copyright protection as enshrined by the IP Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293), which includes paintings as copyrightable artworks.
