Description
English: Company A, 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, (Airmobile) take part in Operation Thayer II, a search and destroy operation against the Vietcong in Quan Hoai An Province, approximately 18 kilometers southwest of Bong Son. Doctor (C PT) Edward C. Wagner, assigned to HQs., 1st Brigade, treats a Vietcong prisoner wounded by members of the 2nd Platoon, during a brief fire fight while on a search and destroy mission.
