This book was given as a gift to someone dear who collects miniature chairs. I am so excited that it was the quality that it was. The binding alone on this book was impressive. The pictures and history of each book was fantastic. I wish I had someone else that I can give to as a gift. Beautiful, quality book.

Very nice coffee table album. Photography and presentation are top notch. Some interesting designs are displayed but at the same time a few classics have been skipped. There is no mentioning of Windsor chairs, the Morris chair or Sam Maloof’s famous designs.

This is my absolutely favorite book on chairs. The choice of chairs is excellent. The descriptions are adequate. But the photos are magnificent. If I could only purchase one book on chairs, this would be the one I'd choose. (I own more than one and some are much more expensive.)

This is a beautifully done book, and is informative as well. I originally thought it would be no more than a coffee table book, but as I move through the reupholstering of several family and found pieces, I use the book as a constant resource.

It was a smooth transition. What a great book! It was in the condition described. I would do business with them again.

This book is probably more appropriate for a coffee table than the scholarly discourse that I was expecting. Judith Miller has written other volumes that are true reference books. I am not convinced of Judith's selection of chairs illustrated in this work.
