The Black Angels were a squadron of B-25 mitchell medium bombers that flew missions in North Africa, Italy, and India during World War II. The Black Angels were apart of the U.S.A.A.F. 9th air force, 12th bomb group, 83rd bomb squadron.

Between july 14th and august 2nd of 1942, the 83rd bomb squadron along with the whole 12th bomb group set out from morrison field, florida to Egypt's Suez Canal.
