editHey, im wanting to make a page on an artist ive been looking into who doesnt have much online info about themselves online in order to provide a source for others who want to look into this artist. Im not sure if this counts as a COI however i flagged it just in case. Because of the lack of sources ive been gathering information from the artist directly, not for the wiki for an assignment im doing on them. Of course if this is to much of a COI ill leave it as i completely get why COI's should be avoided when making or editing a page. - Hello. First of all, it does not seem like this constitutes a COI. Second, if you can not find significant coverage of this person in reliable sources independent of the subject, then they are simply not notable enough to warrant an article. I tried before on my phone and and someone deleted it and commented that was my only warning if I tried to use wiki for soapboxing, promotion, or advertising again I would be blocked.
