Do I have any especial interest in medieval France? I do not. Did I thoroughly enjoy Louis Malet de Graville just the same? I did! great use of images; TY v much for creating jengod (talk) 05:34, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you jengod for your kind words! They really made my day (sorry for my late reply; I'm away on vacation ATM). I hadn't heard of Louis either before spending some time in parts of France this spring where his name kept popping up, and found him such a fascinating character I decided to get some books about him. Very happy you liked it, I enjoyed writing it! Yakikaki (talk) 15:32, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I see you've contributed a lot to Fin (legend), would you be interested in a taskforce on oral tradition? Kowal2701 (talk) 16:59, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kowal2701, thanks for the invitation and the good initiative. It is however not one of my specialities, I was involved in the Fin article as a spin-off of writing another article actually. So I'll pass. But good luck to you! Kind regards, Yakikaki (talk) 13:14, 3 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Solid South; article in the GA nomination process

edit

I believe Solid South would be eligible for DYK if it meets the GA criteria, which may take time, but the "Did you know" fact itself is valid. I have submitted Solid South for a good article nomination, as I believe it meets Wikipedia:Good article criteria. It initially failed a GAN because of a lack of inline citations, which I have fixed. JohnAdams1800 (talk) 17:34, 6 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

@JohnAdams1800: I see. Well, once it passes GA it should be perfectly eligible for DYK, but you would have to wait with nominating it until it has passed. I will write a note about it at the DYK nomination page. I don't know how the process works, if this DYK nomination will fail and you can re-nominate or if it can somehow be withdrawn. We'll see what the people involved in this kind of intricacies say. Best, Yakikaki (talk) 18:24, 6 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
@JohnAdams1800: The current nomination has been closed as unsuccessful. You can re-nominate it once it has achieved GA status, it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with the GA procedure! Yakikaki (talk) 19:53, 6 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
