McNeil is an unincorporated community in Caldwell County, in the U.S. state of Texas.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 200 in 2000. It is located within the Greater Austin metropolitan area.
Geography
[edit]McNeil stands on Farm to Market Road 1322, 5 mi (8.0 km) northeast of Luling in southern Caldwell County.[2]
Education
[edit]The community is still served by the Luling ISD to this day.
