Secret designation

[edit]

What does secret designation mean? Is there a page that explains that we can link to? - Peregrine Fisher 20:30, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A secret designation is basically used by the DOT and other agencies for internal purposes. RARELY do secret designations show up on maps or signs. However, with SR 55, the designation has shown up on several maps over the years. Another example of a secret designation is SR 400, which is the designation used for Interstate 4. 71.99.214.105 01:21, 30 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]
You could go to Unsigned highway. Allen (talk) 20:18, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What's the Difference in Dabs?

[edit]

What is the difference between dab1, dab2, dab3, etc.? Did it really matter that you changed the dab that I used? Allen (talk) 20:19, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"dab1" is for the first shield. The one with the banner is the third. ----DanTD (talk) 20:22, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It worked before you changed it. Allen (talk) 20:24, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No it didn't. It gave the impression that US 19 was the one with the banner. It was actually US 27. ----DanTD (talk) 20:29, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just looked at the history of the page. I knew the US 27 ALT was fine. I didn't see that US 19 was messed up. Allen (talk) 20:57, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You may not have seen it, but when converted it to the template(which I applaud you doing), you changed the link of U.S. Route 19 in Florida to U.S. Route 19 in Williston-Perry, Florida. I've made mistakes like this before, and so have other editors. ----DanTD (talk) 21:10, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
