There's also California's James L. English; do we need a disambiguation page?--Orange Mike 05:05, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Congressman Brandegee Democrat or Republican?

[edit]

In the paragraph that refers to the historical inaccuracy in Stephan Shpeelburg's film, Brandegee is called a Democrat, but he seems to be called a Republican elsewhere (including Wikipedia's list of Connecticut congressional delegations). I'm guessing it should be changed here (and also in the Brandgeee article, with a similar error regarding Brandegee)? Arnold Rothstein1921 (talk) 21:02, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I made the change to Republican. Another editor made the change in the Brandegee article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arnold Rothstein1921 (talkcontribs) 01:55, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Being a relative of him and having the correspondences that Lincoln wrote to him from his lap desk i can tell you they portrayed him wrong, He was against slavery but didn't want to do it in a way that would cause a civil war. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.75.43.154 (talk) 21:53, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
