Dir En Grey

[edit]

Do not move the page back to Dir en grey. There is a consensus on the talk page that favors Dir En Grey and not the lowercase form. You clearly disagree with the title of the page, so request a page move and gain a new consensus. MS (Talk|Contributions) 00:47, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And please stop changing the band's name to Dir en grey on every single page related to the band. It does not matter that you think the band is never spelled as "Dir En Grey". Even it it wasn't, Dir En Grey is the only spelling we should use on the English Wikipedia, as dictated by MOS:TM and MOS:JP. Sorafune +1 18:07, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dir En Grey edits

[edit]

I have reverted every single edit you have made to any article where you switched "Dir En Grey" with "Dir en grey". Do not change them back as I will revert them again. The decision to use "Dir En Grey" over "Dir en grey" was formally discussed in this discussion, where it was concluded that "Dir En Grey" should be used to comply with MOS:JP and MOS:TM, two articles that are part of Wikipedia's Manual of Style, that require the standard English version of a name or trademark (for example, "Dir En Grey"), to be used over the more stylized version of it (for example, "Dir en grey" or "DIR EN GREY"). But if you still feel that we should use "Dir en grey" instead, save yourself from the risk of a ban and discuss your reasons on Talk:Dir En Grey, rather than continuing to make these edits. If you continue to change the band name styling, it will be viewed as vandalism.
