A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 11:08, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Noel Bondesson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Mildly disparaging text about a minor, probably created as a joke by a friend; could never become a Wikipedia article; U5 (webhost violation) would apply in user space but in draft space, G3 is the closest applicable rationale

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. bonadea contributions talk 11:21, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:SmallFacesBBC.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SmallFacesBBC.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:31, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, VirreFriberg

Thank you for creating List of Small Faces members.

User:Doomsdayer520, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thanks for this new article, but it seems to be a repeat of history that is already at the main Small Faxes article and this type of list article is typically necessary for bands with for more complicated membership histories.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Hello, VirreFriberg. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Show Me The Way".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 13:08, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recently an edit was made changing the release date on this album from the originally posted February of 1967. It was changed to January of that year. The source is given as a Billboard chart publication. However, examination of the source material reveals that the record referred to on the chart listing is NOT the LP, but rather the "Pretty Ballerina" single which was released in December of 1966. Numerous other sources on the web confirm the originally published release month as February. If it was not you who made this edit, please ignore. ToddPence (talk) 18:11, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

On 10 September 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Semi-Detached, Suburban Mr. James, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Manfred Mann's 1966 single "Semi-Detached, Suburban Mr. James" was amongst the first songs to utilize the Mellotron? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Semi-Detached, Suburban Mr. James. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Semi-Detached, Suburban Mr. James), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. DYK for There's a Blind Man Playin' Fiddle in the Street

[edit]

On 21 February 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article There's a Blind Man Playin' Fiddle in the Street, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the 1968 single "There's a Blind Man Playin' Fiddle in the Street" by Tages was inspired by an old man that could be seen roaming around the streets of Gothenburg, playing a violin? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/There's a Blind Man Playin' Fiddle in the Street. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, There's a Blind Man Playin' Fiddle in the Street), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

"Scandinavian Musicians' Union"?

[edit]

Hi there. In working on an article of the Kinks' 1965 US tour, I found a claim in several Kinks biographies that after the band refused to perform a concert in Denmark in 1966, they were banned for a few years by the "Scandinavian Musicians' Union" (e.g. 1 & 2). Are you aware of any such organization? I have only seen it mentioned it the various Kinks books. I'm wondering if they are mixing things up between the Danish and Swedish Musicians' Union, but I thought your Swedish language sources would have more information to clarify the situation. Cheers. Tkbrett (✉) 14:11, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! According to the website of Svenska Musikerförbundet (Swedish Musicians' Union) I. E. this page, the books may be referring to the Nordisk Musikerunion (NMU), a Nordic equivalent of the International Federation of Musicians. I am unaware of an entity known specifically as the "Scandinavian Musicians' Union", though the authors of the books you provided may merely confuse the Nordic countries with Scandinavia. VirreFriberg (talk) 14:48, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the clarification. You'll have to forgive us North Americans for always mixing up Scandinavia and the Nordics. Tkbrett (✉) 12:21, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
