Bactrocera és un gran gènere de dípters braquícers de la família dels tefrítids, amb més de 500 espècies descrites.

El nom d'aquest gènere deriva del grec antic bakter "bastó" i kera "banya".

En aquest gènere hi ha molts subgèneres:
