The 66th Grammy Awards unfolded in Los Angeles on Sunday night, celebrating outstanding achievements in the music industry for recordings released between October 1, 2022, and September 15, 2023. SZA, whose album "SOS" dominated the Billboard 200 for an impressive 10 weeks, led the nominations with nine nods, making her the frontrunner for the coveted awards.

In a night filled with anticipation, notable contenders included R&B sensation Victoria Monét, indie rocker Phoebe Bridgers of boygenius, and a host of other talented artists like Jon Batiste, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift, each boasting six nominations.

Before the televised ceremony, the music world celebrated outstanding achievements in various categories. Boygenius, the indie supergroup, secured three early wins, while songs from the film "Barbie" claimed two victories. SZA, despite earning two wins, faced three defeats, underscoring the competitive nature of this year's Grammys.

One of the evening's early highlights featured Tracy Chapman, who graced the stage alongside Luke Combs, delivering a mesmerizing performance of her classic hit "Fast Car."

Michelle Obama emerged victorious in the Best Audiobook, Narration, and Storytelling category, adding a Grammy to her list of accolades.

Trevor Noah, hosting the main Grammys ceremony for the fourth consecutive year, presided over a star-studded event that included performances by music icons such as Joni Mitchell, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, Billy Joel, and SZA.
