    Indian farm worker Satnam Singh's shocking death in Italy's Latina last week sent shockwaves in India. The accident resulted in the severing of his arm, which happened while he was working at the farm. As per Flai CGIL trade union, instead of receiving help from an employer, "Singh was dumped like a bag of rubbish near his home", Meanwhile, Indian authorities raised concern over the death of the farmer and called for prompt action against responsible. On the June 28 briefing, the Ministry of External Affairs raised concern over the lack of empathy, which led to the farmer's death. MEA spox Randhir Jaiswal condemns the death of Satnam Singh and calls for more human treatment of citizens. Earlier, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also commemorated the death of the Indian farm worker.
