    Emmerdale
Lisa Riley recently referred to a controversial character's comeback to Emmerdale. Viewers saw at the end of May that Paula Lane's character, Ella Forster, was a newcomer with a troubled background. When Ella was younger, the girl told Ella that she no longer wanted to be friends, so Ella killed her. Since Ella was raised in poverty, June, the girl's mother, was the only adult who ever gave her a sense of worth. Ella snapped, fearing she would lose June's affection.

The Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, who portrays Mandy Dingle, shared a picture on Instagram. The caption on the photo, which featured her alongside Paula Lane, said, "DOUBLE TROUBLE at the @emmerdale village today", as per the reports of 'Metro.'

    Ella's Difficult History

Ella paid the price for her crime and moved about for years, constantly needing to flee when her history caught up with her. She began dating Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) in Emmerdale. When Liam discovered Ella's lie, he felt betrayed and heartbroken, especially since he was still grieving for his daughter Leanna, who Meena Jutla had killed. She was told to leave the village by him in a furious manner, as reported by Metro.

    Uncertain future

Liam seemed to have conflicting emotions, though. During a conversation with Rebecca Sarker's character Manpreet Sharma, he admitted that he still possessed certain items from Ella's house. The idea of Ella returning and finding her belongings thrown away made Liam feel bad, even if Manpreet had advised him to get rid of them. Later on, Liam could be seen thinking about what to do while holding Ella's items in a box.
