    • Son of a farmer, Ravi Pillai completed his graduation in Commerce from Cochin University
    • After his graduation, Pillai started his own business in Kerala, but could not continue for long due to labour strikes in the state and had to eventually shut shop
    • He went to Saudi Arabia in 1978 and set up the RP Group with 150 employees and won construction contracts, in the midst of multiple challenges
    • By the late eighties, Pillai turned RP Group into one of the largest industrial construction companies for oil and gas with over 5000 employees. His clients included some world-famous companies like Saudi Aramco, SABIC and ExxonMobil
    • In the nineties, Pillai expanded the company into other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and entered other segments like steel and petrochemicals
    • With the turn of the century, the businessman from Kollam diversified into other sectors like realty, hotels, tourism, education, healthcare, Information Technology, retail and trading

    • An investigation into the NEET-UG paper leak in Bihar has revealed a complex network of scammers. Mukhiya took leave shortly after the May 5 exam, claiming to be hospitalized, and has since gone missing.
