Burcu Dolunay (pronounced [ˈbuɾdʒu ˈdolunaj]; born 17 February 1984 in Izmir, Turkey)[1] is a Turkish female swimmer competing in the freestyle events. The 1.74 m (5 ft 9 in) tall sportswoman at 63 kg (139 lb) is a member of Galatasaray Swimming team since 2006.[2][3][4] She studied at Istanbul University.[5] Dolunay is holder of several national records in freestyle.

She qualified to participate in the 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle events at the 2012 Summer Olympics.[2][6] At the 2013 Mediterranean Games held in Mersin, Turkey, she won two bronze medals in the 50 m freestyle and 4 × 100 m freestyle relay events.
