William Briscoe Stone (April 13, 1797 – December 1, 1872)[1] was a justice of the Maryland Court of Appeals from 1844 to 1845.[2]

Born in Charles County, Maryland.[1]

"As an adult he practiced law in Charles County, and at one point was considered by the U. S. Senate for a judgeship. In 1825 he married Sarah Anne Caroline Brown. William and Sarah had four children".[1]

He was descended from early Maryland governor William Stone.[1]
