Saint-Ouen-la-Rouërie (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃.t‿wɛ̃ la ʁwɛʁi]; Breton: Sant-Owen-Reoger) is a former commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Val-Couesnon.[2]

Location

The commune lies 47 km (29 mi) northeast of Rennes and 21 km (13 mi) south of Mont Saint-Michel on the border with Normandy.

Saint-Ouen's adjoining communes are Sacey and Montanel in Manche, and Coglès, Tremblay, and Antrain, in Ille-et-Vilaine.
