  • There is unlikely any copyright violation in the article. Earwig's Copyvio Detector has reported only 12.3% in similarity.
  • There are no cleanup banners, such as those listed at WP:QF, in the article.

@Thebiguglyalien: Good job on writing the article. Once these few issues get addressed, I'll be ready to promote the article to GA status. The review will be on hold for a week. It's cool to see that such countries like Kiribati are getting some recognition in the political area of Wikipedia. If you're interested, I have 7 GANs related to politics (6 of them are about Serbian politics) that are waiting to be reviewed by someone, so jump in and review an article for the GAN backlog if you want to. "Before the presidential election a debate had open regarding Tabai's term of office, the question being whether he was running for his third or for his fourth term. The latter case would have been unconstitutional, since only three terms were possible. Finally, the High Court considered it to be Tabai's third term, as in 1978 he had been elected Chief Minister, and only in 1982 and 1983 President."

  • Articles have been expanded 5 times and they are long enough. I've GAN reviewed one of these articles, so I know that they're well-sourced, neutral, and without copyvio (though I did have a look at other articles and the criteria has been met for other articles too). Articles are presentable. Hook is cited to a reliable source and is interesting. I don't see an image here but Tabai's image is freely licensed and could be used.
