History/Discovery

[edit]

Hi all! A couple of papers note that A xylosoxidans was discovered in 1971, and they cite this paper: Yabuuchi E, Ohyama A. "Achromobacter xylosoxidans n. sp. from human ear discharge." Jpn J Microbiol; (1971). 15:477-81. But I can't seem to find it anywhere! Hopefully someone else has more luck?Ajpolino (talk) 07:55, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Let me guess, you searched for it under its current name and not the former. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/store/10.1111/j.1348-0421.1971.tb00607.x/asset/mim00607.pdf
