Confirmation

[edit]

The page reads "After a string of bizarre behavior, a tour in rehabilitation for alcoholism, and late puberty," followed up by "Hall has denied he was ever in rehab,"

Could we get some kind of confirmation as to which one is correct? The Zaniak 14:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Irish/Italian?

[edit]

Is there a reliable source for this? It's in the article and that sentence has a citation, but the citation refers to him being Catholic, not his ancestry. (The fan-submitted IMDB, other trivia sites are not reliable sources, btw) Mad Jack 22:04, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The only reliable source I could find was when he was on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (June 12, 2006). He says it himself, but I'm not sure if I can link a video as a reference. [1] The Wikipedia:Citing sources page doesn't say anything about this kind of sources. Nat91 05:17, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I found something regarding video sources here Wikipedia talk:Biographies of living persons#Youtube. I stand by what SlimVirgin and others said; the source is the clip, not the site hosting the video itself. After giving it some thought, I'm going to add the citation. Nat91 20:24, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see why a Craig Ferguson appearance wouldn't be a reliable source, since we have no reason to believe YouTube messed with the video or altered it anyway (plus it's hardly important enough to worry about that:-). So yes, please add it, and thanks for finding it Mad Jack 00:54, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GA

[edit]

This article is well deserveing of it's "A" rating, (which curiously is above GA), i really have no issues with this article, IMO it's pushing FA status, good work everyone

†he Bread 00:11, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comments. I wanted to get the GAC review before going after FAC. Nat91 02:08, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hall as co-producer and producer

[edit]

It's not mentioned here that Hall was firstly a co-producer and later a producer of the Dead Zone. I've added this. 87.127.178.28 (talk) 22:10, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted this change, as it is uncited. IMDB (not typically considered a reliable source) only reports he co-produced 4 episodes. Do you have a citation for this information?  Frank  |  talk  22:17, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes - I'm actually watching the Dead Zone series on DVD and thus far, he was producer for ALL of Season 4 and so far 5. He is listed as Co-Producer for all the episodes previous to that - seasons 1,2,3. How we use that information - I don't know, but certainly the episode credit listings would be reliable enough? 87.127.178.28 (talk) 12:44, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK - This link http://www.bullz-eye.com/television/interviews/2008/anthony_michael_hall.htm is an interview with Hall, who several times mentions being a producer on the show. 87.127.178.28 (talk) 12:48, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nominating for FAR

[edit]

I am going to nominate this article for FAR. I believe it no longer meets FA criteria 1(c) well-researched (Claims are verifiable against high-quality reliable sources and are supported by inline citations where appropriate). - Artoasis (talk) 10:49, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any editor/major contributor want to address this issue before the FAR process starts? - Artoasis (talk) 12:54, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

Why is there no controversy section for this guy? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.208.40.76 (talk) 05:04, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you know of anything controversial he's done and have reliable sources to back it up, feel free to add the information and references. M.Clay1 (talk) 06:04, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1 + 4 = 6?

"Hall was one of six cast members (the others being Joan Cusack, Robert Downey, Jr., Randy Quaid, and Terry Sweeney) who were dismissed at the end of that season."
