Right handed

[edit]

Why is "He is right handed" in the trivia section? I could understand if he was left handed. Does he play left handed characters? DavidMarsh 01:21, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it doesnt belong. Who cares? --69.204.215.90 16:43, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The order of the first paragraph

[edit]

If he's "probably best known for playing Brad in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show", then shouldn't that be before the Spin City stuff? The wording of this paragraph is kind of weird.

i believe he had a real quick appearance on 2.5 men on the 3-22-2010 episode. he was behind charlie and allen at a function.

Born 1945 or 1946?

[edit]

The infobox says he's born 1945, the article introduction that he's born 1946. One is clearly wrong. --Heelgrasper (talk) 13:38, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Marital Status & Side Note on Character

[edit]

Mr. Bostwick is divorced from Ms. Jensen. From what I was able to find online is appears this could have occurred any time between 2015 - 2017, but I have been unable to locate a source I find reliable enough to actually quote. Perhaps someone else w more experience can find something factual with a good reference?

On an unrelated note, I recently watched an episode of the program "The Haunting of...", on which Mr. Bostwick's supernatural experiences were documented (initial airdate: 06/01/2013). I must say I found him very likeable, truly modest and considerate (surprising, given the startling talent that shines through - despite the fact that he seems to be the person least impressed by it). In short, he is a real gentleman.

Most celebrities, given the smallest of opportunities to aggrandize themselves, are either blatantly arrogant or adopt a regrettably visible faux-humility in an attempt to appear "just your average, really cool guy!"

Mr. Bostwick's behavior was the kind that simply can't be faked. Listening to another person talk (as opposed to just waiting impatiently for them to stop - or worse, interrupting). Looking out for the people around you, even if only to prevent them from wandering through a mud patch. Actually being more interested in what someone has to say, than in using them as an impromptu audience.
This is definitely not to imply any tepidity in his personality, however - the impish twinkle of those blue eyes (which I imagine is a good part of what has captured audiences for decades) was well-represented. Mr. Bostwick maintained a poker face, as much as was appropriate to the moment, while listening to the information relayed by the psychic medium. As most mediums request not to be told any information beforehand so as not to "muddy the pool" on what they "pick up," Mr. Bostwick came across as absolutely, 100% ignorant of every detail she shared - not by word or expression or muscle twitch did he give away any form of recognition. Yet he was being told of events he was very familiar with.
At one point the medium finally (almost in exasperation, in fact) asked Mr. Bostwick if he recognised anything she was relating. He answered in the affirmative and filled in the details with respectful asperity. The medium paused, then laughed heartily - cue aforementioned eye twinkle! - as she realized that his knowledge of the property and its various tragedies was actually encyclopedic. The fact that he'd gained his knowledge from the family of the prior owners is just further evidence that this is a man who cares about, and is interested in, others. The Klowns

[edit]

A minor biographical detail, but what exactly was his role in pop group The Klowns? This 1970 news article about their TV special lists the six members, but Bostwick's name is not mentioned.[1] Did he join at a later date, or maybe he just sang on the album?
