Cover

[edit]

Blur apparently covered an Elvis Costello song called "Oliver's Army". It's mentioned on the Oliver's Army page but that just links to Blur's main page. I found a reference that says the song was on disc called Peace Together released by Island Records in 1993. I think the fact belongs on this page but I don't know exactly what form that should take so I'm going to leave that up to someone that cares more about it than I do :) - Rob Russell (talk) 13:00, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Promo singles

[edit]

I think a section should be made for blur's many promo singles, and "Don't Bomb..." should be moved into this section. 124.187.138.131 (talk) 04:52, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fan club singles?

[edit]

The link given in the External links section is [1], right. That article lists 8 exclusive singles and EPs given to fan clubs. There should be a mention somewhere throughout All of wikipedia (because it's not mentioned anywhere else) of these fan club singles. A majority also seem to be new material. There's "Death of a Party" (1996), "I Love Her" (1997), "Close" (1998), "Sing (to Me)" (2000), B-Sides Gig (2001), "Won't Do It"/"Come Together" (2002), "Colours" (2003) and "Some Glad Morning" (2005) - the latter two also earning a mention on Discogs.--92.237.84.183 (talk) 16:57, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Blur discography

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Blur discography's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ARIA":

  • From ARIA Charts: "ARIA Charts - Gold and Platinum ARIA Accreditation Awards". Australian Recording Industry Association. Retrieved 16 October 2011.
  • From List of music recording certifications: "Australian Recording Industry Association". Australian Recording Industry Association. Retrieved 2008-06-02.
  • From Song 2: "Blur - Song 2 (Song)". Australian Charts. Retrieved 19 April 2009.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:57, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Certifications for British album and single sales

[edit]

A lot of this information is incorrect (as of July 8th 2014). According to the BPI website, Modern Life is Rubbish and Leisure have achieved gold status, not platinum. Also, there are no silver discs for the single Girls & Boys, Out of Time or Charmless Man — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.63.226.142 (talk) 15:33, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Blur discography. Please take a moment to review my edit. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
