Where is that Fleetwood town? England or where? If England, then why he said that he need 7 years to learn English? --Prokur 07:42, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Magdalene etc

[edit]

Magdalene College, Cambridge, Cambrige. This is ugly. Do we really need the reference to Cambridge University when a reference to Magdalene College, Cambridge directly precedes it? I suggest two solutions: Either edit the link the Mag. Coll. to remove the (visible) text to Cambridge, or remove the Cambridge link.

Date/Age

[edit]

The article says that Ogden founded the Cambridge Magazine in 1912, when he was still an undergraduate. This is puzzling, as he was 23 years old by 1912, and had started as an undegraduate in 1908, four years earlier, and even then most undergaduates spent only three years at Cambridge, usually between the ages of 18 and 21. This suggests to me that either (a) the magazine was founded earlier than 1912, when Ogden was still an undergraduiate and under 21, or (b) it was indeed founded in 1912, but Ogden was no longer an undergraduate by then, or (c) it was indeed founded in 1912, and, for some unusual reason (which should be stated in the article), Ogden was still an undergraduate at an unusually late age. I'd change the sentence if I had a reliable source to base the change on, but I don't. Thanks in advance to anyone who can sort it out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.110.216.193 (talk) 01:57, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
