2003 economic figures

[edit]

The £8,451 figure for the 2003 regional economic numbers is allegedly from reference #4, which is [1]. However, that reference doesn't directly show that figure. It shows a figure of only £3,034 for Swansea, but no figure for the region. I'm not sure what the article means by "Regional Gross Value Added" but it's clearly something less than the West Wales & Valleys area described in the PDF file. West Wales & Valleys comes in at £19,757. The £8,451 figure has been in the article since Pondle created it in 2007. I will leave a note on Pondle's talk page asking him where that number came from. I will also flag the information as {{failed verification}} in Economy of Swansea. Can anyone help get this straightened out? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 20:34, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Figures updated with new ref. I've apologised to User:Cardiff123098 for being too quick to condemn his edits! Pondle (talk) 22:40, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
