Rose Baldino

[edit]

Should Rose Baldino be added to the current member's list? She's playing with the band on tour and in the promotional band photos for their tour. She's not listed as "guest featured artist." Example: https://ccanh.secure.force.com/ticket/?fbclid=IwAR11crIrI2CgyIdZH8m6-UXdDYj7UdZukNnmOSEhGiHMCX79aaQTrmsJ8hk#/events/a0S1R00000CLUKRUA5 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:558:1422:0:0:5EFE:AA2:4127 (talk) 14:42, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Former band members

[edit]

Shouldn't this article make some reference to the former members of the band? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.139.7.64 (talk) 22:53, 22 August 2006

Seconded, though finding proper sources documenting former members may get interesting. If I recall correctly there was a period with fairly frequent turnover in the band, which might be hard to document properly. --Christopher Thomas (talk) 01:48, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Main body edit

[edit]

I removed some of the main body, I think it's a little too effusive:

Enter the Haggis fans, commonly called Haggis Heads, have been both surprised and overjoyed with the results.
ETH's music is most commonly described as Celtic Fusion. When they play, they create an unique sound that can only be associated with them. Their music is primarily a fusion of Celtic, bluegrass and rock, however, elements of Latin, blues and funk can be heard throughout. The band members have combined their talents to create a sound like no other.
Their stage performance is always exciting and keeps the fans, whether they have heard them before or not, jumping out of their seats, clapping hands and getting into their addictive style of music. With a combination of instrumental music and vocal music, Enter the Haggis always ensures that their performances are amazing.

Enter the Haggis name

[edit]

Does anyone besides me think that "Enter the Haggis" sounds like a parody of "Enter the Dragon"? That's the connotation it holds for me anyway.(Myscrnnm (talk) 03:32, 6 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Why have a link inthe discography for Live at Lanigan's Ball DVD if it leads back to this page? Paploo 03:49, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. —Akrabbimtalk 19:01, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Andromeda

[edit]

My friend has a song called "Andromeda." I am pretty sure it is by ETH (sounds like them, bagpipe solo, google search for its lyrics) but I have no idea what album it is from, or if it is and unreleased demo, or what. Does anybody know where it comes from? —Akrabbimtalk 18:56, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, it's from Aerials. —Akrabbimtalk 19:21, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ouch my ears!

[edit]

This band sucks. Why do they even have a wiki page? What's so notable or historical about them? What have they done that The Pogues and Big Country already haven't done? Or for that matter-the 10 million other paddy rock bands that have produced material before them... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.176.233.118 (talk) 09:40, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ha - well, then it's a good thing "what's relevant" on Wikipedia isn't decided just by what you personally like and don't like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.198.228 (talk) 01:57, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
