This link was added to the article after discussion on the WP Reliable Sources Noticeboard. See: WP:RSN exercise. No information from the CCHT link has been put into the body of the article in the form of citations because it has not yet been verified for 100% accuracy by the Victoria County History project for Cumbria. The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Heversham/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I haven't contributed to Wikipedia before and am nervous of changing content without someone else's approval. Heversham is not a 'market town': the one shop in the small village closed down about two years ago. It may have been a market town at some time in its history (substantial very old church suggests it once had some importance). If I remove 'market town' and replace it with 'village', then the article says little more than any map. I haven't the time to research replacement information.
