It's mentioned in the Idris Elba#Films section, and on the Idris Elba filmography article. Was there a specific place you think it should be mentioned? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 21:50, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Another movie is missing in filmography. It is “The Take”, 2016. 2601:85:C480:60C0:E964:34E6:C2DA:BCC3 (talk) 01:45, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Take (released as Bastille Day outside North America) is mentioned in the separate article listing all his appearances (Idris Elba filmography). Is there some specific details you wanted to add to this article? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 14:31, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Change English actor to British actor. Reason: ENGLISH refers to persons born specifically in England to English parents who originally come from England, whereas BRITISH refers to people born in England but to non English parents. Example: Child born to Polish parents who are permanent residents in the UK will be classed as BRITISH citizen, NOT ENGLISH. 195.224.158.203 (talk) 09:02, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The father of Idris Akuna Elba is a Ghanaian. AlphaMans (talk) 10:18, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any references for that? I had a look at what's in the article at the moment, and there are two different references from the Guardian[1][2] stating his father was from Sierra Leone. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 11:39, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"The person wants to modify the nationality of his father to Ghanaian. This is because the Elbas, his family name, have their roots in Ghana. His father, who was originally from another country, came to Sierra Leone for a railway job. Therefore, he now wants to update his father's nationality to better reflect his family's cultural and ancestral background." 197.215.23.102 (talk) 08:26, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. We cannot determine a person's ancestry just by looking at their last name. Liu1126 (talk) 11:05, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
