Airing Date

[edit]

This episode aired on March 6, 2002, and was the season premiere. The episode number is 602, but it was the first episode, as the production numbers often didn't match the airing order until a few years ago. If necessary for proof, I can post a screenshot that says "3-6-02" on the scrolling marquee. I won't update the main article, though, as southparkstudios agrees with this article, oddly enough, and said Freak Strike aired first, and I want to avoid accusations of OR. I just thought I'd point this out.Eric Sieck 02:02, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Any truth to this?

[edit]

Is there any truth to the claim that Jared had aides while he dieted? If so, it should be added to the Jard Fogle article. I looked around on google for awhile and couldn't find anything to confirm or deny. I watch a lot of South Park and this doesn't sound like something they would make up. Ahimsa52

I disagree, I think they would be more than happy to make it up for the sake of the Aides/AIDS joke. Disturbed286 (talk) 07:43, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alien on wall and in Chefs hand

[edit]

in one of the scenes in the episode jared is in a restaurant and in the background on the wall there is a faint picture of a alien on the wall and it even blinks...

What you saw was a visitor. They're hidden in various episodes throughout the series. --Swellman 05:27, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

in the following scene, when Butters filled up another alien appears in the hand of Chef as a scoop, it blinks too...

Swellman's right. They're called visitors. Ever since Season 2, I beleive, they've been appearing in episodes when South Park Studios.com was launched. They announced that Visitors would be hidden in every episode from then on and that people would have a chance to search for and find them in every episode to have a chance to win prizes. They've most recently done this in Season 13B from October 7, 2009 to November 18, 2009. Look carefully in every episode (except season 1 episodes) and you can see one. Once a Visitor appeared on the refleection of a back window of a car for a split second then in the next scene it was gone. In Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson! for a split second charlie's smiley face tatto turns into the head of a Visitor. Cartman Gets An Anal Probe doesn't count, though. I don't think Cancelled does either since both of those have Visitors regularly appear. Sometimes they're completely hidden and require a lot of searching to find other times they're in plain sight. a>C-Son-L_Sweaters.exe 02:50, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SouthPark602.jpg

[edit]

Image:SouthPark602.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

June 19th re-airing

[edit]

Can someone give a source for this re-airing? --Txredcoat (talk) 14:59, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Opening Credits

[edit]

I moved a paragraph on the new opening sequence from the "Freak Strike" page into this one, since this is the episode where it was first used. I don't really care whether it's a valid or essential point to have on the page, so if someone wants to remove it for good I won't be offended. Dustman15 (talk) 17:05, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
