The article Three Stratum Theory needs held from someone who knows this subject. -- Beardo 23:59, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The date of death was listed incorrectly, it should be July 1, 2003, not June 1, 2003. Taigamimi 09:35, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Model of School Learning

[edit]

The key aspect of Carroll's framework is that it defined learning variables in terms of time (not individual differences and instructional variables). Student aptitude is defined in terms of time required to learn a specific outcome (TTL). Motivation, what Carroll called perseverance, is also defined in terms of time (time students attend to instruction). Carroll also defined opportunity to learn as the instructional time allotted for learning. The two non-time variables of the framework are instructional quality and, basically, prior knowledge, which Carroll didn't really define beyond their effects on time to learn (TTL).Robotczar (talk) 16:01, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
