Phonecards

[edit]

The article refers to BT phonecards as if they still exist, which they don't. It is still possible to buy phonecards from post offices and newsagents but they use a different technology. The BT phonecards had a magnetic strip, which was read by the payphone, so there was no need to dial an access number. Modern phonecards require the entry of long strings of figures which is inconvenient, especially at night in a dimly-lit phone box. Biscuittin (talk) 19:59, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a section about phonecards. Biscuittin (talk) 21:04, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I appreciate your edits but I feel you have cluttered the page a bit with images. Personal preference I suppose. Thanks for helping out, especially with the phonecard stuff, :)--TangoTizerWolfstone (talk) 22:00, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I have removed 2 images. Biscuittin (talk) 23:49, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've done some moving around in the last paragraph, I hope it is OK--94.11.238.35 (talk) 23:26, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
