changed "spent loan spells" to "spent some time on loan to".

[edit]

I'm not British ... not European, for that matter. In Australia, we call football 'soccer', because we have our parochial game that gets the ubiquitous moniker. We still reminisce about using jumpers for goalposts ... but that's universal.

So, I'm not culturally acclimated to terse phrases like "spent loan spells". I changed it because it didn't make sense to one who doesn't know 'soccer' that well. I hope I interpreted it correctly in my translation to a broader English ... if not, please do rectify my edit. Colonel Tom 11:30, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
