change of picture

[edit]

I changed the picture back to what it was because the old picture actually shows how big marges breasts are compared to normal, whereas the new picture didn't show that and it could have been a picture from any other episode.

Iwo Jima

[edit]

Twice in the article, it is mentioned that five soldiers raise the American flag while only three actually survived the war. If I remember the episode correctly, the soldiers were introduced only as Iwo Jima veterans, not the ones who did the famous flag-raising scene. So this isn't an error on the writers' part. Dr. Hibbert

[edit]

Dr. Hibbert did not perform the surgery, as the article says he did. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.67.137.99 (talk) 20:50, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate?

[edit]

Can anyone get verification for the supposed "alternate" version? I don't know, but the DVD commentary should be cited for that, because the whole concept doesn't seem at all like the truth. Simpson, Bart (talk) 19:33, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Batman/Adam's speech

[edit]

i think what batman/adam west says to the joker/krusty should be noted, as it is a cultural reference to batman and his belt. i do not know the exact words but he states that he used his 'carousel reversal spray' and shows the can. Krusty then exclaims, "what DON'T you have on your utility belt!?" and Adam replies "Patience! for (unknown part)harlem hoodlems such as yourself" and is said in a adam west fashion. it references his belt and his uncanny ability to choose the right equipment each time and every mission. it should be placed under the cultural references. i dont know the exact words but if someone could watch the episode and write down the correct speech and place it in the article it would be greatly appreciated

Un-Fair Use of Restored Image

[edit]

Yeah, well, there was a DVD called Simpsons: Kiss and Tell. It was a Simpsons DVD of episodes about Homer and Marge's relationship and Large Marge was one of the episodes used. Ian Fairchild (talk) 10:03, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Friars Club Chopped Liver

[edit]

I recently re-watched this episode and was once again confused by the, I presume, joke about the chopped liver being pumped into the Friars Club by hose from a tank truck. Can anyone explain this joke? Is it a cultural reference? Thanks. --Monkofbob (talk) 01:46, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
