The title of this article should probably be changed to "Melbourne Anime Festival" as that is the true name of the event, or just plain "Manifest". The event is never referred to as "Manifest Festival".

Just Manifest would be bad since there are other articles which have names starting with "Manifest" (see the Manifest disambiguation page). Most people typing "Manifest" into the search box and hitting go probably aren't looking for this.
Melbourne Anime Festival is okay, but most people who know about this would know it as "manifest"
How about changing it into "Manifest (Convention)"? So the title of the article is "Manifest", with the "(Convention)" bit for disambiguation purposes. --Yaksha 08:04, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's tricky. Technically, the proper name is Manifest (or possibly MANIFEST), so I guess Yaksha's suggestion is the correct one - after all, Manifest Festival is a redundancy like PIN Number. In comparison, Animania probably belongs at Animania Festival, but I'm not sure if there's enough reason to move that. Confusing Manifestation 00:48, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So is "Manifest (Convention)" okay with you guys?
Animania is fine, since that's the name isn't it? Calling it something like "Animania Festival" or "Animania (Festival)" would only be for disambiguation purposes, and i there isn't anything else called "Animania" on wikipedia. --Yaksha 07:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm fine with something like "Manifest (Convention)". 60.224.13.126 23:20, 3 October 2006 (UTC)StorminNorman[reply]
