Why, where and when did the "Cammell" bit get tacked on, and the "Vickers" removed? I can't help thinking this is a reasonably important bit of missing info... anyone know? 193.63.174.10 (talk) 09:09, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Moved to Metro-Cammell. While the assertion that it has "never been called Metro Cammell" is indeed false, I'll add this ngram {{url|https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=Metro+Cammell%2CMetro-Cammell&year_start=1800&year_end=2000}} to the equation, clearly favoring the move (note also existence of Metro Cammell Weymann, a separate company). Metro CammellMetro-Cammell – The company has never been called "Metro Cammell". For a while it was Metropolitan Cammell, and then changed to Metro-Cammell. see evidence here: [1]ElshadK (talk) 15:54, 15 October 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. IffyChat -- 15:43, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
