The spelling of the name of the "Athletic Company" should be changed to Nokona, with a K. For some vague reason, they were not allowed to use the name of an incorporated city, Nocona, so they apparently changed the C to a K. Nokona makes exceptional baseball and softball gloves. All of their gloves are made in the USA, and they may be the last baseball/softball glove manufacturer to make that claim. Someone with more knowledge on this subject than I, could verify whether this is any corporate connection between Nokona, the athletic company, and Nocona, the boot company.≈≈≈ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.169.74.130 (talk) 22:58, 23 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
