torino 2009

[edit]

About Torino 2009: DNS means "did not start", which is inaccurate. I'm putting back NM ("No mark") — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vasarchit (talkcontribs) 22:14, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't Tweet in English

[edit]

She didn't actually tweet "With so many Africans in Greece... the West Nile mosquitoes will at least eat homemade food!!!" as she didn't tweet in English. That is one of the translations that have been reported so I clarified that a bit. I'm not even sure if it's the best translation as it doesn't keep the same punctuation.

This shows her actual post (clearly not English). http://www.totalprosports.com/2012/07/25/greek-athlete-voula-papachristou-expelled-from-olympics-racist-tweet/

This appears to be an automatic translation which may actually be a better translation. I don't know though, so I didn't change it. http://www.techntechie.com/greek-athlete-kicked-off-from-olympic-for-racist-tweet.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.80.44.146 (talk) 15:47, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
