So why do we Pakistanis mention so much about Hindus? They ignore our history, so we give them a partial mention. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.223.206.96 (talk) 23:03, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the part "These same clans constitute the name Gakhars in the past who were famous for defending the region of Potohar".

[edit]

Some internet users keep on spreading the factually incorrect statement that the term "Gakkhar" was collectively used for a mixture of tribes. This is both historically and factually wrong. Gakkhar is an individual tribe in its own right with many sub-clans such as Bugial, Iskandral, Adhamal etc, and they are mainly found in Districts Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Mirpur and Haripur. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.171.184.31 (talk) 06:22, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the following line

[edit]

I removed this from the demography section"

"The native language of the region is Punjabi. Dhani dialect is spoken in Chakwal District, Majhi dialect in Jhelum District, Chhachhi and Ghebi dialects in Attock District, Pindiwal Majhi in Rawalpindi and Pahari Pothwari dialects are spoken in Gujar Khan Tehsil. Urdu language is also spoken in this area."

It was all unsourced and factually incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.174.156.158 (talk) 17:34, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
