Suggestions

[edit]

Who wants to add a section for suggestions on who could be added? Even though these guys aren't really as cool as the ones mentioned, you have to love robots... KITT and Alpha from Knight Rider and Power Rangers come to mind :) Tyciol 18:54, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

KITT from Knight Rider and Johnny "Number 5" from the Short Circuit films should be added here too.shyjayb 12:26, 15 May 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shyjayb (talkcontribs)

C3PO image?

[edit]

Any idea why we have an R2-D2 image, but not one for C-3PO?Naraht (talk) 10:41, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Include nominees?

[edit]

The working ref for 2012 includes who the other nominees were in each of the the four categories, should we include them?Naraht (talk) 10:58, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing since 2012?

[edit]

Wondering why. How about Siri, Amazon Alexa, Cortana as virtual robots?

No awards. Ask the awarding organisation. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:58, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Category for this

[edit]

It looks like a category for inductees was deleted after Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2013 May 8. Maybe we could get a wider discussion going about this? ☆ Bri (talk) 17:32, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You could probably recreate it but it would only make sense to apply it to the members, so perhaps in Category:Science and technology hall of fame inductees. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:39, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I add Category:Robot Hall of Fame inductees‎ since the top-level article doesn't really have anything else about it. I've added the cat to the recipients. Do you want us to do anything else? The Rambling Man (talk) 17:57, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

the integration of two robots on the list of the hall of fame exhibition does not constitute membership in the hall of fame. in effect, the hall of fame website doesn't support the inclusion you made, and I certainly didn't find sources about your (arbitrary chosen?) date of a 2021 inclusion. I think your edit should be reverted, as it is not supported by sources. (your source doesn't support the two robots neither for the date of 2021 nor for the inclusion in the hall of fame, merely confirming their presence in the robot hall of fame exhibition, of which I dont know if it is a separate entity to the hall of fame.) 158.39.187.251 (talk) 11:15, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
