Just noting, that I am interested in developing the article further to a featured list if someone agrees to collaborate. Ping Sitush who I believe is also interested. Solomon7968 06:19, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure how this is going to work. The article is about a series of books, so presumably you are thinking of writing synopses for each volume? I have very little experience of featured lists. - Sitush (talk) 15:14, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
NO!!! The standard academic source of this article is Rimi B. Chatterjee, 2004 (she's also a Wikipedian: Rimibchatterjee). Incidentally the book doesn't uses any contemporary book reviews as references (see pp. 100–102 on Google Books). The article is almost there, it just needs more on the background section, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Bibliographies/Recognized content for bibliographies which are featured. This is a very old series and is of historical interest only, so you will not find any contemporary book reviews. It is out of copyright and has been reissued cheaply several times by Indian publishers, but even they haven't been able to breathe any life into its corpse recently. It is, however, interesting to historians of colonialism. A search of Jstor might throw up research work on them. I have a phd scholar who recently finished who studied W. W. Hunter (editor of the series) and had some comments on it but alas is yet to publish. Rimi talk contribs 13:43, 16 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
