Roaring meg

[edit]

Roaring Meg (cannon) was first cast in 1646. It cannot have been in use in 1643 if that's when the seige was.

With the loss of a crowbar!

[edit]

What is "The order was carried-out with the loss of a crowbar!" supposed to mean? Is it supposed to be a quotation from a period source? As currently written, it's not clear what it means and its style does not fit in with the rest of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.207.126.212 (talk) 21:17, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
