This supposed improvement is ungrammatical and incoherent:

The Killing of Sister George is a once controversial play and film version of it, noted mainly for their treatment of lesbianism.

so I have reverted to this better version:

The Killing of Sister George (1968) is a once controversial lesbian film directed by Robert Aldrich based on a play by Frank Marcus. Colin4C 09:20, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
